Techno-entrepreneurial Training in TEX

Technopark, Trivandrum and the Indian TEX Users Group
(TUGIndia) invite applications from eligible
candidates for three month's training in
electronic text processing with TEX.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any science subject
- English keyboard speed of 40 words per minute
- Aged 28 years or less
- Reasonable communication, analytical and leadership skills
No. of Seats
- 15 (fifteen) seats
- 8 (eight) seats are reserved for women candidates
Selection Procedure
- Computer-based screening for keyboard speed
- Written test for general aptitude and analytical skills
- Personal interview
Training
- Training will be held at Technopark
- Duration of the training shall be for three months (4 hours for 5
days a week). Start date will be announced later
- Fee of Rs. 500 per month will be charged
Certificate
- Upon successful completion of the training, candidates will be
awarded certificates.
- These certificates will be awarded jointly by Technopark and
TUGIndia.

Apart from exhaustive sessions on TEX technologies and tools, the
training programme will also cover subjects in
entrepreneurship development and management skills. The aim is
to equip participants with the skills needed to ultimately set
up small enterprises on their own.
The selection procedure for the training programme will comprise a
computer-based screening for keyboard speed, a written test
for general aptitude and analytical skills, and a personal
interview.
